5++ LOVING DANIEL STARS
“Leave the past behind you so the future can find you.”
Squeeee!!! OMG this book was absolutely amazing!!! Eeeeeeekkk!!!
I have such a happy face on right now while writing this review. Thinking about the incredible story Brittainy just told me.
Loving Mr. Daniels has left me completely and utterly breathless. The feels that came from this book were out of this world awesome. It was soooo much more than a student/teacher romance book so you really need to just keep an open mind with it. It reminded me of Slammed by Colleen Hoover, but really different (that makes no sense right now, but read it and you’ll totally understand). I laughed and cried and swooned and I held my breath then counted to ten. But most of all, I fell completely and utterly in love.
“Daniel”, I whispered, moving closer to him. I placed my hand against the book, bringing his reading to a halt. He looked up to me, a warm grin on his face. I took his hands in mine and moved them to rest over my heart.
“You’re going it.”
“Bringing me back to life.”
The story is told in both Ashlyn and Daniel’s POV which was a reason why I loved about this book. It kept a wonderful easy flow from one chapter to the next, making it easy to get lost in the story and forget it’s three am.
If you follow my reviews regularly, you know that I don’t really give much of the plot away. And this is the kind of book where the synopsis is really all I recommend you read before diving in. I hadn’t read many reviews before reading it and I am so glad I stayed away.
So here is the synopsis:To Whom it May Concern,
It was easy to call us forbidden and harder to call us soulmates. Yet I believed we were both. Forbidden soulmates.
When I arrived to Edgewood, Wisconsin I didn’t plan to find him. I didn’t plan to stumble into Joe’s bar and have Daniel’s music stir up my emotions. I had no clue that his voice would make my hurts forget their own sorrow. I had no idea that my happiness would remember its own bliss.
When I started senior year at my new school, I wasn’t prepared to call him Mr. Daniels, but sometimes life happens at the wrong time for all the right reasons.
Our love story wasn’t only about the physical connection.
It was about family. It was about loss. It was about being alive. It was silly. It was painful. It was mourning. It was laughter.
It was ours.
And for those reasons alone, I would never apologize for loving Mr. Daniels.
So on that note, buy this book! Clear your schedule, put the kids to bed, boil the kettle and put your feet up because Mr Daniels will slowly change you life, one shakespeare story at a time 😉
